Short Term Major Medical offers nonrenewable major medical coverage. The optional periods of coverage are from one to six months.

Plan Benefits

Protection
$1 million lifetime maximum per covered person.

Variable Deductible Feature
The policy pays 100% of covered expenses in excess of benefits payable under other policies. Other plans are those that provide benefits for hospital, surgical, or medical expenses including individual and group policies, health service plans, HMOs, Medicare, and others.

Ten-Day, Right-to-Return Policy
If the insured is not satisfied for any reason, the policy may be returned within ten days after receiving it. Any premium paid will be refunded.

Dependent Coverage
The insured’s spouse, natural or adopted children, and the spouse’s natural or adopted children may also be insured.

Common Accident Provision
If more than one insured person is injured in the same accident, there will be only one deductible for covered expenses associated with that accident.

Deductible and Benefit Period per Condition
For each illness or injury, there is a deductible and a one-year maximum benefit period. There may be more than one benefit period running at a time.
